Who could use this program?
This year long program of four quarters is designed for an art instructor, teaching a high school Art I class.  Portions of the program could be adapted and used for:
    1.  Adult Art Education classes.
    2.  A Community College beginning art class.
    3.  An 8th grade challenging art program/projects/course.
    4.  Instructors giving private art classes.
    5.  A beginning artist that wants to treat this as a step-by-step
         instructional resource.

The instruction and projects from this program can be used year after year.  To make the program appear different each year, change the subject matter that is used for the major projects.  This is a non-consumable product!

How is the program adapted to the high school Art I school year?

The program is based on a school year of 180 days.  One week per semester is treated as non-instructional time and set aside for school activities and school testing.  A ‘time line’ for each lesson plan is included.  The time line is based on a 55 minute period, five days a week.  The actual class work time is 45 minutes, with 5 minutes set aside for preparation and 5 minutes for clean-up.  The program contains instructions, visuals and projects for each quarter of the school year.
